Comet Ambassador Program

Comet Ambassadors are recommended by HHS Staff because of their leadership qualities and commitment to the HHS Community, and the greater community at large. Comet Ambassadors are extensively trained in the summer before their junior year, in order to become mentors to their peers and incoming 9th graders.

Comet Student Ambassadors’ greatest responsibility is to make Hackensack High School a more welcoming and student-centered community, and one in which members of our community can learn to rely on one another.  Their responsibilities, may not end at the end of each school day, but rather will likely be a continuous process with their mentees and peers.  Student Ambassadors will work on social, educational, and peer-related activities, with the goal of creating a learning community that fosters an appreciation for cultural diversity, intellectual growth, and individual diligence.
