The Teaching American History Grant is a federal project founded to improve the knowledge of our young citizens' understanding of United States history.  In conjunction with the American Institute for History Education, a team of fourth through twelfth grade teachers are attending workshops on historical events as well as teaching strategies to improve instruction in our history classrooms.  The goal is to not only inform our teachers but to impart that knowledge to our students who will become active, informed citizens.
