Dear Parents, Teachers and Students,

          The Hackensack High School Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) welcomes everyone to the 2008-09 School Year. The PTSA is a valuable opportunity for you to participate in your child’s education at Hackensack High School and become part of the HHS community. Parent participation has proven to be a critical element of success for our students.

          Listed below are the PTSA meeting dates for 2008-09. We meet on Wednesday nights and have coordinated some meetings with Community Speaker Evenings. The 13^th Annual HHS Fashion EXPO on March 31

is our major fundraising event with the proceeds benefiting senior class scholarships. Recipients from the Class of 2008 were awarded $18,000 as a result of the Fashion Show Fundraiser! Volunteers from all grade levels should sign up at our first meeting on September 17 to ensure continued success of this event. It is a fun night and a great way to help our students.

          We look forward to seeing you at our First PTSA Meeting and at events throughout the year.    Enjoy the remainder of the summer!
