Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Student activities help students by becoming more involved with students and teachers you may not come in contact with on a regular basis. You can establish relationships with teachers and other students who have the same interests as you do.

3.) Can I make suggestions for events and activities?

Absolutely. You can make suggestions for events and activities by contacting Ms. Aquino, Director of Student Activities. Her e-mail address is p.aquino@hackensackschools.org and her phone number is (201)646-8038.

4.) Where can I find out about the events and activities offered at HHS?

You can find out more about the events and activities on the link section named Activities Handbook & Description.

5.) Do student activities help in college applications?

Yes, student activities do help in college applications. Colleges pay close attention to your life both inside and outside the classroom. College admission officers look at your academic records as well as the activities you have become involved with, especially if you have held leadership positions in those activities. The activities help show a balance in your lives, and your ability to work with others.
