The Services We Offer

Tutoring and Learning Support is a free tutoring program where adult volunteers from Hackensack and surrounding communities and student volunteers with high academic standing can tutor any student who needs help in any school subject.

Employment Services offers job opportunities for students which relate to their future career, to better prepare them for the workforce.

Counseling in the Drop-in Center has trained staff that offer free counseling to students with any personal issues, or if they just need someone to listen.

2NDFLOOR Youth Helpline A helpline for youth and young adults to call about anything on their minds.

About Drop-In

Drop-In's mission is to provide accessible counseling, educational, career, health and advocacy programs for students of Hackensack High School and their families. We strive to meet the changing needs of adolescents, the community and Hackensack High School with proactive and creative strategies. These professional services are provided in a comfortable, confidential and safe environment by highly qualified credentialed staff. The Drop-In staff treats individuals, families and the community with respect and dignity regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, disability, age or national origin. These services are supported by the continuing assessment of student and school needs, established quality indicators and program standards.
